Sequoia National Park

Julia Venelli

My family and I spent few days at the Sequoia National Park. It is located in the southern Sierra Nevada. It is a wonderful landscape great for hiking. You cannot believe how big the sequoia trees are! You must see to believe. There is one sequoia that fell down across the road and was so big that was made a tunnel through the tree! We passed through with our car: amazing! The best places are the Moro Rock with breathtaking view, the Crystal Cave and the giant tree trail where you may see the biggest sequoia tree: the General Sherman.

During one of our hiking we saw one mama bear with two cubs. We were very lucky to saw the bears. You may see bears also in the Italian National Parks like Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and in the Alps.
